The Science Club at the 2018 Science Olympiads.

Victoria Peppers, Writer

This year’s science club, coached by Mr. Asher, Mrs. O’Neal, and Mr. Kreuger, is full of some of our brightest students here at Fredericktown High School. They’ve been preparing for the 2018 Science Olympiads since September during their BASE class. The science club traveled to the SEMO campus on February 10th to show off the hard work that they’ve put in to the club. Of the twenty-two events that were available, our students competed in eighteen of them. Most of the events that they competed in earned a first or second place. The Science Olympiad celebrated it’s 33rd anniversary this year. It was made for the students who enjoy science and want to learn more about the subject. Fredericktown placed fourth overall.
