This season the golf team has participated in many matches. They have also grown in many ways. For some, this is the first year they have ever played, but for others, it has been many years coming to be on the high school team. People’s history can show a lot about how they play.

Freshman Grant Ebert has played golf for most of his life. He likes golf because it’s not as much of a team sport, so he doesn’t have to rely on someone else. He looks up to Jack Nicklaus because he wants to be as good as he is one day. Sophomore Houston Bradford decided to play golf this year for the first time. He decided to play because his dad played when he was younger. Junior Collin Corcino has played since he was four. He looks up to Erik Anders Lang because he gives you a different perspective on the game. He likes playing because it is fun and it gives you the opportunity to make new friends.

Even though the season is almost over, the teammates know that they will forever be close to each other. The bumps that the team has gone through have made them grow closer together. Don’t forget to go out and support the Fredericktown golf team! They have only a few games left!
