In February, several students in FBLA competed at districts, sending seven winners to state competitions  in April. Those who placed well enough at districts to proceed to state are these students:

Hunter Bellew: 4th place in computer problem solving

Daniel Bathe: 1st place in agribusiness event

Carter Corcino: 1st place in marketing team, business law, and Accounting I events

William Arras: 1st place in marketing team and help desk events

Emmaline Glore: 1st place in client service

Lauren Wagganer: 3rd place in Accounting II event

Alyssa Pierson: 1st place in marketing team

These seven traveled to Columbia, MO, a couple months after they competed at districts. At state, they were able to meet other members of FBLA from all over Missouri. Will and Daniel met personally with FBLA state officer candidates to cast their votes for the next election. The group also expanded their learning on leadership by attending seminars throughout the conference. Even though we won no medals at this event, we did bring home one winner: Alyssa Pierson placed 3rd in the large Kahoot game about FBLA! The state conference was a wonderful opportunity of learning and networking, and Fredericktown is hoping to bring some more members next year.
