Crispito Day

Crispito+Day

Crispitos were the one joy we had in our school days, the one thing that made the week worth it. Those Friday lunches and that melted cheese gave us the reassurance we needed to let us know that what we were doing was worth it. Then the Spring of 2016 came along, the time we found out that Crispitos would be no longer. Devastation flooded the halls and left us drowning in sorrow. Even though we get lots of benefits with our current caterer, the one thing we don’t get is the one thing that kept us going.

A year went by with no Crispitos. The world was a bit darker than usual, but things kept as they were and we still had good lunches and lots of fruit, however there was still something missing. It was time to make a change, we needed Crispitos. Coincidentally, the last day of the first semester was National Crispito Day, so the school talked to The Pig, your local drive in restaurant, and they agreed to give us the Crispitos we needed to feed the mouths of all the students with perfect attendance. Hope filled the halls and an overwhelming joy filled the faces of FHS students. Once again, we knew what we were doing was worth it. As the students munched away on their Crispitos, you could see the happiness that dwelled within them.

Now that Crispito Day has passed the hope of another one is in all student’s hearts and minds, but until then hop on down to The Pig and grab yourself a Crispito to hold you over.
