One club that generally goes under the radar is Animé club. While it may not get very much attention, its members still know how to have fun. I attended their Christmas party, and it was a blast.

The party started with a quiz about how Christmas is celebrated in Japan. Much of the information was very interesting, and I personally learned a lot from it, like the fact that they only celebrate Christmas in Japan for the glamour, not for religion. After the quiz, every member was given glow sticks to bedazzle themselves with. They then proceeded to model them for the whole group. They played a few more games, then settled down at the table to eat various festive foods.

It was a fun time. If you’re interested in joining, the Animé Club meets on Wednesdays during BASE after school in Room 17.
