On Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 12-3 p.m., the art classes at FHS had their art show. In addition to the artwork on display, they had free arts and crafts, face painting, and balloon animals.
Another fun activity was the slime station sponsored by Mr. Daniels. Located in the gym lobby, the art show gave a chance for students, parents, and community members to view everyone’s hard work this year. It was presented by Mrs. Smithey and her students.
The following weekend, Mrs. Smithey attended the MAEA Art Conference in Kansas City, Missouri. Two of our students won awards for their art exhibited there.
