Fredericktown’s track and field team had a strong showing at their recent meet, with athletes putting together some impressive performances across multiple events. The team continues to improve each time they compete, and this meet was no exception. Several runners stood out on the track, with strong finishes in both sprint and distance races. Athletes pushed themselves to try to beat their school and personal records. Relay teams also performed well, with good teamwork and smooth handoffs. In field events, the track team had some very successful events, like long jump, shot put, and discus. One of the biggest outcomes from the meet was the effort and teamwork shown by everyone. From the beginning to the end of the meet the athletes gave it their all in whatever they were doing, weather it was cheering or performing in their event. They showed good attitude and lots of support towards all their teammates.
Overall, it was a very good meet for the Fredericktown Track team. There are more meets around the corner that all 0f the students are looking forward to participating in. They will all continue to have strong showing at their meets. They will travel for MAAA Conference in Ste. Genevieve on 4/30/2026, so show up and support!
